Tam Coc Ninh Binh is located in Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu district. With a system of caves and beautiful wet rice fields, this is an ideal place for tourists to enjoy and hunt for satisfactory photos of the ripe rice season. Tam Coc means “three caves”: Ca cave, Hai cave and Ba cave, with the gentle Ngo Dong stream piercing through the heart of the mountain. People here only grow one rice crop a year, so every late May – early June, tourists make an appointment to come to Tam Coc to see the brilliant golden rice fields amid the rolling mountains. In front of the beautiful scenery, we could not help but experience a trip floating on the Ngo Dong river to enjoy the happiness of the boats carrying “gold”.
Shiny rice fields welcomed us in Tam Coc Ninh Binh
Shiny rice fields welcomed us in Tam Coc Ninh Binh – people “in the same boat” invited each other to the ancient capital to date the golden season. Not only will the eyes be filled with natural colors, anyone who comes here will also be intoxicated by the fragrant smell of ripe rice, the sweet nectar that makes people fall in love and be hard to stop. I sat on the boat on a sunny morning, dazed with the yellow ribbon before my eyes. The thoughtful limestone mountains cast shadows on the blue water.
No matter how many times I come back here, I know I can hardly contain my emotions before this unique scene. So, while I can still travel on long roads, while I can still express my deep nostalgia, I will visit Tam Coc Ninh Binh more often. These trips, when we were still full of youth, were always invaluable on our path to adulthood. Even though in the future our young people will have the opportunity to explore all four corners of the world, the beautiful images imbued with the characteristics of our homeland will still be forever engraved in our minds. We go to love our country and this colorful life even more.
